									<p><b>Activity: </b>Isha Vidhya seeks to transform the lives of rural children with affordable, high-quality education. It aims to set up 207 schools in Tamil Nadu villages that are designed to build confident, English-speaking, computer-adept students, on par with their urban counterparts. Students will graduate prepared to pursue higher education and employment in the best corporate institutions. Isha Vidhya functions at the grass roots level, relying on community involvement and support of volunteers and donors.</p><p><b>Details: </b>Currently 8 schools in operation and each year the schools expand one grade level until they reach 12th grade with classes from lower kindergarten.
