Everyone wants to be healthy and yet we struggle with it a lot. To be healthy, you worry about the extra time which you will have to take out in your life or the morning sleep you will have to sacrifice for that yoga class. Being healthy might also mean that you will have to sacrifice your food and switch to a diet you don't like. You almost feel judged whether you are doing enough. And then with these thoughts in your mind, health becomes this difficult pursuit resulting in a constant struggle to make it a part of everyday life.
We call nature our 'Mother', but do you really think we're treating her like in a way that a mother deserves? Today, we are behaving with Mother Nature with utmost disrespect - using up all her resources, killing off forests, rivers and entire ecosystems in our greed for more money and more products. We keep forgetting that we have only one Earth, and this is the planet that is going to sustain our future generations. The good news is that the power is still in our hands, more specifically in the hands of future generations. Blog about 'How to teach our kids to press Ctrl+S for nature?' for the Shortcut Safaari weekend activity and win movie tickets!
It's that time of the year again, where we will scream and shout, "Holi Hai"! As India's most colourful and fun-filled festival is back, gulaal will blast from pichkaris around every corner, delicious gujiya will be washed down with thandai, and everyone will jump and dance with 100% masti!
Always acknowledge a comment on your blog and respond to the commentator, preferably at his own blog. Its great to reciprocate the gesture.
Spare time to read - Blogging is not just about writing but also about research and reading. Read as much as you can to learn new things and ideas that you can experiment with on your own blog.
Focus on good content, not on monetization. Over time, money and benefits will follow good content.
Get up. Walk to the nearest window. Look outside. What do you see? Great view. Happy. Sad. Clean. Dirty. Nothing spectacular. The challenge is to describe whatever you see. Can you?
How much time do you take to write a blogpost? Sometimes the words just flow while sometime it remains in the draft for a long time in the quest for perfection. This weekend, how about setting a timer for 30 minutes and just write. Without the worries of being perfect. Go ahead.
How many times have you cursed your luck for an something that seemed unlucky at first and then secretly thanked your stars later because it happened? Very often, we do not realise that destiny has more in store for us than we can see.
