Everything that we do in our lives, be it our education, our career, our choice of partner and the decision to raise a family, stems from one desire. The desire to live a life that matters. Some people sit and think about a different life, and then there are some like Rob Bialostocki who go out and actually do it. The result? A Life That Matters, which is a blog chronicling Rob's travels and the things he gleaned from them. Rob visited the BlogAdda office during his time in India, and very kindly agreed to share his experiences and views in an interview. Everyone wants to be healthy and yet we struggle with it a lot. To be healthy, you worry about the extra time which you will have to take out in your life or the morning sleep you will have to sacrifice for that yoga class. Being healthy might also mean that you will have to sacrifice your food and switch to a diet you don't like. You almost feel judged whether you are doing enough. And then with these thoughts in your mind, health becomes this difficult pursuit resulting in a constant struggle to make it a part of everyday life.
We call nature our 'Mother', but do you really think we're treating her like in a way that a mother deserves? Today, we are behaving with Mother Nature with utmost disrespect - using up all her resources, killing off forests, rivers and entire ecosystems in our greed for more money and more products. We keep forgetting that we have only one Earth, and this is the planet that is going to sustain our future generations. The good news is that the power is still in our hands, more specifically in the hands of future generations. 'Chaand Taaron Se Chalna Hai Aage, Aasmanon Se Badhna Hai Aage,
Pichhe Reh Jaayega Yeh Zamana, Yahaan Kal Kya Ho Kisne Jaana'. True that. No one knows what will happen tomorrow. This weekend, write a blogpost starting with the lyrics of your favourite song.
How much time do you take to write a blogpost? Sometimes the words just flow while sometime it remains in the draft for a long time in the quest for perfection. This weekend, how about setting a timer for 30 minutes and just write. Without the worries of being perfect. Go ahead.
