Everything that we do in our lives, be it our education, our career, our choice of partner and the decision to raise a family, stems from one desire. The desire to live a life that matters. Some people sit and think about a different life, and then there are some like Rob Bialostocki who go out and actually do it. The result? A Life That Matters, which is a blog chronicling Rob's travels and the things he gleaned from them. Rob visited the BlogAdda office during his time in India, and very kindly agreed to share his experiences and views in an interview. Read (and watch below) as he opens up his wealth of knowledge for us.
Thinking Particle is a travel blog, but to call it just a travel blog would be doing it injustice. The About Us page of the blog run by Vishnu Kumar and Vijay Dubey says "Thinkingparticle.com is our effort to make traveling India a bit easier. We are trying to give most accurate information possible about various destinations through our travel articles. We also provide an opportunity to our fellow travelers to share their travel experiences by writing travelogues , by participating in our India travel forums and by sharing photographs." We spoke to Vishnu about their journeys, both as bloggers and as travelers.
Anybody who comments on your blog is in a way visiting your home & wouldn't it be bad if we don't welcome them?

The True Us
How Growing Up Without a Mother Felt Like
"I have a dream...”- Martin Luther King's historic lines find resonance with all of us. Our dreams might not be as lofty or earth shattering as him, but dreams all of us do have. Each of these dreams have a story or history attached to them and we're never really at peace till we fulfill them. BlogAdda in association with Club Mahindra presents the #DreamTrails activity that will take you right into dreamland, and who knows, you might just come back with your dream fulfilled!
It's that time of the year again, where we will scream and shout, "Holi Hai"! As India's most colourful and fun-filled festival is back, gulaal will blast from pichkaris around every corner, delicious gujiya will be washed down with thandai, and everyone will jump and dance with 100% masti!
All of us are in an invisible race today, running towards money, fame, stability and trying to check off items in our 'must want' list. But as they say, when you look back at your life, you will remember the time you spent with your loved ones, and not the figure you've accumulated in your bank account. Memories that you make with your loved ones are the true treasure that you accumulate through your life. And we want you to share these #MemoriesForLife with us through a blog post!
Spare time to read - Blogging is not just about writing but also about research and reading. Read as much as you can to learn new things and ideas that you can experiment with on your own blog.
Originality - Focus more on the originality of content and on a consistent basis. It is a habit you will need to cultivate.
Picture talk: Use of images attracts more eyeballs. It is humanitarian. Even if it is a data centric post or a theoretical one, have an image that speaks significantly for your post.
They say it's never too late. It's never too late to start again after a failure. It's never late to fight for the love you lost! No matter how much things have fallen out of place, there always will be an open window to mend things back. But does this always hold true? Time waits for no one. There are times when it does become too late for us to act. Moments pass away, taking with them our power to change circumstances. Sometimes, it is too late for us to press 'Undo' on something that we've done, or go back and do something that we hesitated to do in the first place.
In the movie 'Superman Returns, Lois Lane writes an article - 'Why the world needs Superman'. She couldn't be more right. Be it our desi Shaktimaan or Batman, Iron Man or Thor, superheroes are the ones that take on the mantle of keeping the world together through their actions and lessons. Their superhuman powers exceed all evils, their extraordinary gifts fight crimes and protect the public. It is time to bring these superheroes out of the comic books and movies into the real world.
The festive season that started with Ramzaan was marred by news of terrorist attacks, hate crimes and police oppression. Airwaves are chock full of endless stories of killing and atrocities everywhere, leaving no place for a ray of hope to tell us that all is not lost. With custodians of different Gods in an infinite debate, protectors turning predators, racism keeping a constant eye on mankind, environmental damage and more, the world need not wait for a real apocalypse to happen, for destruction is already around the corner. This is the time to ensure that positivity also finds its way to people and gives us hope in these dark times.
