Intel has officially released a wealth of information about its incoming Intel Z390 platform. Unlike the Z370, the upcoming Intel Z390 overclockable chipset will have updated features such as CVNi, native USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports. There are many feature sets which are the same as the previous premium mainstream desktop chipset- such as six SATA 6Gb/ps ports, up to three 32Gb/s M.2/U.2 connectors, 24 PCIe Gen 3 lanes. The native memory support for DDR4 is up to 2666 MHz. Via the CPU's on-chip graphics, it provides three DisplayPort/HDMI support.
