Srujanavani is working in the areas of primary education, providing education to rural children apart from running an orphanage.

Identifying the local unemployed youth and imparting training to provide the right education to the needy. Our activities are totally volunteer based and with least administrative issues.

Note:

The project aims to provide education for 70 children of tribal hamlets near Visakhapatnam. As the ultimate aim of the education system is to produce a responsible citizen, our core objective is also to make the student learn good habits with a right sense of discipline.

Chinna Bodurevu, Pedda Bodurevu, Rajampeta, bandha veedhi, Thota mamidi and Rayapalem villages are tribal hamlets in the madugula mandal, Visakhapatnam. Most of the people in these villages are illiterates and with lower socio economic status. Children from these villages are required to walk about 10kms to reach the nearest school. Srujanavani started 2 alternate schools (Sreekaram a new beginning) in the Bodurevu and Rayapalem hamlets. Around 35 children from these hamlets are attending each school. The overall delivery mode of the program content is mostly in the informal and interactive form of learning rather than rot and orthodox methods. Students will be made to think & understand things rather just mugging up the issues. We will establish a library with a minimum number of books and inculcate the habit of book readings along with academic books. As the ultimate aim of the education system is to produce a responsible citizen, our core objective is also to make the student learn good habits with a right sense of discipline. There will be competitions for neatness and premises cleaning.

We would like to preserve their nature of caring in them by saplings, gardening etc. Developing only towards academic and mark oriented psyche is the cause of today's chaotic situation of greed and jealousy.

To avoid such a kind of jeopardy, we will make them understand their inner self in the form perceivable stories, incidents in inspiring personalitys life histories etc.
