Aligarh Muslim University [AMU], Aligarh is one of the oldest University of India. In the year 1877, by the effort of Sir Syed Ahmad Khan who founded the Muhammadan Anglo-Oriental College in Aligarh. In starting the college was affiliated by University of Calcutta and subsequently got affiliated by University of Allahabad in 1885. In 1920, the college was turned into Aligarh Muslim University [AMU], Aligarh. Aligarh Muslim University [AMU] provide good quality of education and offers more then 40 courses in more then 300 Disciplines which includes Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Doctorate (Ph.D) and Diploma courses.
