Halo Eye Makeup - A Life Less Ordinary With SauraBhavna
We can see that it’s not just smokey eyes but halo eye makeup trend is also popping up everywhere. It is also known as “spotlight eyes”. This new statement eye makeup look is all about strategically placing eyeshadow around inner and outer corners of your eyes to fake a bigger, brighter gaze. What you actually do in this look is just sandwich a very light colour with a darker colour on both the upper and lower lids. Fun and exciting part of this look is that it can be done with any colour scheme. Halo eye makeup is not that tough, it’s technique calls for applying darker shades on the inner and outer corners of the lid and then packing a lighter, shimmery shade on the centre of the lid. Trust me guys I myself am an amateur, like you guys I just loved makeup and started learning from youtube and blogs. I am still not perfect but enjoy my journey of learning and experimenting with makeup. So don’t hold yourself back from trying, remember as I always mention it in my blog if I can do it you can do it too. STEP-BY-STEP HALO EYES BLEND OUT THE CREASE Softly sweep your regular bronzing powder in the crease and blend out for a smooth transition between the eyelid and brow bone. APPLY YOUR CORNER COLORS AND ADD DEPTH TO IT Place dark blue shade on the outer and inner corner of the eyelid. BRIGHTEN UP YOUR CENTER LIDS Use a dense brush or your finger to apply the gold shade on the centre of the lid. A PRO TIP!!! Spray a makeup Setting Spray on the eyeshadow that’s on your brush or finger before applying to your centre lid for stronger pigmentation and ultimate staying power! LOWER LASHLINE Complete the look by mimicking the application of eyelid shades on the lower lash line. HIGHLIGHT THE INNER CORNER Using that same light shade, apply the slightest amount of highlight to the inner corners of your eyes.
