Sexual Assault and rape cases are increasing day by day all over the world. Children, adults, old people and even newborns are not safe. Few days back I saw a friend's post on facebook about how worried she is as a mom of a girl. I read the entire post and I was able to relate to every single word she wrote and then I thought I never saw posts like these from parents of a boy. Does increasing Rape crime is none of their concern? Rape and assault are inevitable forces. We cannot change the world but we are responsible for raising kind and generous kids. It must be difficult to talk to your kids about rape but it's critically important. Teaching girls to be safe is not enough because an infant cannot protect herself. Parents should talk to their boys about respecting women and make them understand that assault is not justified in any damn situation. Parents of a boy should be confident that they have raised a good human being who respects women. Start teaching at an early age and remember that by teaching a girl we are saving only one girl, but by teaching a boy we might save many.
