Mumbai recorded very heavy rain of 234.8 till 29th July morning. First heavy spell after the delay of monsoon by 15 days. Southwest monsoon was set over Mumbai on 25th June 2019. Last year in 2018 it was set on 9th June. The highest rainfall recorded over Mumbai in month of June is 478 mm. The 944 mm is the highest ever recorded in July. Here are some facts about rainfall during the period of June to September. The normal date of monsoon over Mumbai is 10th June, but the dates had been fluctuating.
