Stress! Depression! Anxiety! These words are common in India now. The World Health Organisation (WHO) has called stress the health epidemic of the 21st century. According to The Hindu, “The stress assessment shows that 18,278 people were engaged, out of which 19 percent were found to be experiencing severe levels of stress, and about 70 percent were found to be approaching the danger zone and were extremely vulnerable.” The stress level in India is higher than in other developed countries. 9 out of 10 (about 89%) Indians suffer from stress, all the way from bottom employees to the top bosses.
