FMCG Shares Traded Mixed - Nifty FMCG Index Up 0.68 Per Cent At 28,978.6

On Wednesday, the FMCG shares were trading mixed with the Nifty FMCG index up 0.68 per cent at 28,978.6. Shares of Godrej Consumer Products, Hindustan Unilever, Dabur India and United Spirits were trading with decent gains. Britannia Industries, Tata Global Beverages, United Breweries and Procter & Gamble Hygiene & Healthcare were trading in the red. Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 29.90 points at 10,552.6 while BSE Sensex was down 76.65 points at 35,067.84 around 02:09 pm.
